
David Thompson
As a client advisor working in the Greater DC and Baltimore area, David oversees client relationships, providing strategic advice to individuals, families, and their related entities. He facilitates access to the firm’s internal resources and provides holistic advice across a range of strategies, including: investments, credit, banking, pre-transaction planning, estate planning, and charitable giving.
David has nearly two decades of experience advising clients both as a private banker and also as a strategy consultant. Prior to joining J. P. Morgan, David was a Strategy Manager at Accenture with a primary focus on Communications, Media and Technology companies. Before this, David was a Private Banker at Citi in New York, London and latterly Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles David was responsible for developing Citi’s High Net Worth offering on the West Coast.
A native of the British Isles, David graduated from the University of East Anglia with a BA (Hons) in Business Economics and earned an MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University. He also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
